How do I personalise my cake topper?
Simply enter the name, age, or custom text in the personalisation box on the product page. Please double-check your spelling, as we create the topper exactly as it is typed!
Can I choose different colours?
Absolutely. We offer a wide range of glitter and matte cardstock colours. Please just let us know when you enter the personalisation details.
What kind of cardstock do you use?
We use premium, heavy-weight cardstock (usually 250gsm+). For our glitter toppers, we use "low-shed" cardstock, so you don't have to worry about sparkles falling onto your cake.
How are the toppers packaged?
Cardstock toppers are delicate, so we ship them in reinforced stay-flat mailers or boxes with rigid backing to ensure they arrive in perfect condition without bending.
How long does it take to make my topper?
Since each topper is made to order, our current processing time is 3-5 business days. Please factor in shipping time on top of this when planning for your event, all products are shipped 24hr shipping. If you require a rush order please message us prior to ordering.
What if my topper arrives bent or damaged?
If your topper is damaged during transit, please take a photo of the item and the packaging and contact us within 24 hours. We will prioritize sending out a replacement for you.
Is the topper food-safe?
Yes. The cardstock itself is backed with a food-safe bamboo or plastic skewer that can be inserted directly into the cake.
Are cardstock toppers reusable?
They are primarily designed for single use. However, if kept dry and handled carefully by the stem, many customers keep them as mementos or stick them into a plant pot or scrapbook after the party.
Are they flammable?
Yes, they are made of paper. Please ensure there is a safe distance between the topper and any lit birthday candles. Never leave a cake with lit candles and a paper topper unattended.
Can I return my topper?
Because each topper is custom-made to your specific details, we cannot accept returns or exchanges.
Can I change the details after I’ve ordered?
If you catch a mistake, please message us immediately. Once we have started the cutting process, we are unable to change the design or text.
